Christmas

The Christmas holiday really lasted more than just one day for us. It encompassed almost the whole month of December. We went to Nashville with Pa, Monya and Jenny where we rode the Polar Express. It was really cool as we rode a real train from Nashville to Lebanon, TN and back. There were cookies, hot chocolate, Santa and a special reading of the book.

Then we had Parker's preschool program where he sang Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Russ, Amy, Cooper and Jack came to show their support. Parker did a great job singing and after the program he got to sit in Santa's lap. Parker told Santa that he wanted, 'white shoes like Mike Miller and a real basketball'.

We also saw Santa again at Cookies & Milk w/ Santa at White Station (Parker even got to wear his pajamas.) There were a lot of games and Parker even sang Jingle Bells on the karaoke machine.

Then we went to Nashville again with Mimi, Popee, Chris, Haley, Chandler and Macie. We all spent the night at the Opryland Hotel and we went to see ICE. It was 9 degrees inside, but we had a blast on the slides and touching all the ice.

After Nashville, we went to Florence where we had Christmas with both grandparents. Needless to say, Parker was not lacking in the present department.

Then we traveled back to Memphis as we awaited the arrival of Santa Claus. Santa definitely did not disappoint Parker as he got white shoes like Mike Miller, a real basketball and some Grizzlies warm-ups. He also got a bowling set, air hockey table and a lot of other smaller things.
