Preschool Open House

Yesterday we went to Germantown Church of Christ Preschool Open House. Parker will start preschool next week. He will go Tuesdays and Thursdays. He was so excited that we were taking his school stuff. He insisted that he wear his backpack inside. He had a great time meeting his teachers and the other boys and girls. Summer Fun

We are staying busy as usual. Mommy and Parker went to the Children's Museum, where he always has lots of fun. Afterwards, we visited with Parker's friend, Lydia. She is so cute! Parker is such a good helper! On Saturday, he helped daddy wash the car. We have tried to stay cool this summer by swimming. We have made new friends this year and renew old friendships while swimming. We will be sad when summer comes to an end.

Parker had his 3 year checkup this week. (I know. I can't believe that he is 3!) He was 38" tall and weighed 30.6 pounds. I can't believe that he is 3! I love him so much and can't imagine my life without him!

Happy Birthday Parker!

Today Parker turned 3 years old! I can't believe it! I tried to convince him that he was 1, but he kept saying, "No, Mommy! I'm 3 now!" Yesterday we had a Wiggly Birthday party with our family. I love that at this age he gets excited over the little things. Before the party, he was outside playing and came inside and I had put out the Wiggles tablecloths. He went nuts! "Daddy, look! I have never seen these! This is great!" I mean he was excited over tablecloths!! We served Hot Potatoes, Fruit Salad (yummy, yummy) and Rosy Tea. The party was a success! Parker had a blast! Tonight the three of us went to Chuck E. Cheese. Tonight when we were tucking him in bed, he was so sweet. He said, "Thanks for my birthday, mommy and daddy!"
